Russian River Cruise

The Price is

Day by Day Information

DAY 1 - 3 ST.PETERSBURG

Arrival. Transfer airport – ship. Bus City Tour. Visit to Peter and Paul Fortress. Hermitage Museum. St. Petersburg is a beautiful and fascinating holiday destination and one of the most intriguing and historically significant cities in Europe. St.Petersburg is a relatively young city, by both Russian and European standards, and was only founded in 1703 by Tsar Peter the Great. Despite its short life so far, Petersburg has a rich and exciting history. From the early days of Peter the Great's "Venice of the North" to the modern events of the 1991 coup d'etat, the city has always bustled with life and intrigue, revolution and mystery.

 

Day 4 - MANDROGI

Verkhnie Mandrogi is a reconstructed traditional Russian village. It is located on the shore of the Svir River, which connects the greatest European Lakes Ladoga and Onego.  The village has several traditional Russian houses (izba), museums and also facilities for accommodation, dining and entertainment of the guests. The area is pristine. Fish are abundant in the river and forests are inhabited by many bird and animal species.

 

Day 5 - KIZHI

Kizhi is an island on Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia with a beautiful ensemble of wooden churches, chapels and houses. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Russia and an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

Day 6 - GORITSY

Goritsy is a small settlement not far from the Kirillo-Belozersky  men’s Monastery. It was founded in 1397 by Kiril Belozersky on the shore of Lake Siverskoye. Now it is in the territory of the modern town of Kirilov.

 

Day 7 - YAROSLAVL

Situated at the confluence of the Volga and Kotorosl Rivers some 250 km north-east of Moscow, the historic city of Yaroslavl developed into a major commercial center in the 11th century. It is renowned for its numerous 17th-century churches and is an outstanding example of the urban planning reform Empress Catherine the Great ordered for the whole of Russia in 1763. Bus city tour, Local Market (free time), Church of Elijah the Prophet, Art Gallery tour.

 

Day 8 - UGLICH

Uglich is one of the oldest and most  beloved Russian cities. It was founded in 937 by Ian Pleskovitch, a relative of Princess Olga. It was first mentioned in the Ipatyev chronicle in 1148 under the name Uglichye-polye. On May, 15, 1591 the last child of the Ivan the Terrible, Prince Dimitry, perished in the Uglich Kremlin under mysterious circumstances. Day 9 - 11 - MOSCOW

Moscow is the capital and the largest city in Russia.

It’s metropolitan area ranks among the biggest in the world. Moscow is the country's political, economic, religious, financial, educational and transportation center. It is located on the Moskva River in the

European part of Russia. It is the site of the Moscow Kremlin, which serves as the ceremonial residence of the President of Russia. Moscow is home to the largest number of billionaires in the world; in 2007 it was named the world's most expensive city for the second year in a row. It is home to many scientific and educational institutions, as well as numerous sport facilities. It possesses a complex transport system that includes the world’s busiest metro system, which is famous for its architecture and artwork.
